ABOUT
Dustin Koester is an American drummer/percussionist based in Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in central Indiana, Dustin grew up in the arts-cultivating environment of the Midwest. Whether at the piano with his grandmother or in school band classes, he was surrounded by supportive family members and mentors. At age 10, he was gifted his first drum kit and continued to develop through formal music education, eventually attending Indiana University and playing in ensembles alongside some of the nation’s top young musicians. Since relocating to Los Angeles in 2012, he has been an active member of the local music scene and toured the world with numerous artists.
